Sarkey’s Energy Center
This building is by no-means pretty on the outside in my opinion, but it has key features that make it interesting to talk about. It is dedicated to the departments that research energy related topics and, as such, has many interesting exhibits which feature fossils, ore, rocks, and instruments used in the fields of study. This makes the interior of the building pleasing to look at and explore because the exhibits are scattered around the building in lobbies. It also makes it the perfect building to study for exams—it is a quiet and interesting place to be in. The only downfall of the building is that the architectural design does not allow the classrooms to have windows. This is because a hall way wraps around the entire outside interior of the structure that forces all the classrooms to be interior rooms.
