Hagia Sophia

Hagia Sophia

The Hagia Sophia is located in Istanbul, Turkey and was originally a cathedral. It was later converted into a mosque then became secularized into a museum. I have never been there to see the building in person, but I did study the architecture and art for another class. I was quite drawn to the architecture and the structures that make this building so magnificent. This is a building that commands your attention and draws you into a different world.

I really enjoy the variety of architecture in Istanbul. The city its self has so much culture and diversity. I would love to travel there one day.
