This building is located in downtown Lower Manhattan, New York, NY. This center was designed by the Grimshaw Architects, to accommodate the growth of the region. This is a center for connections between 11 subway lines. It has a large atrium that is surrounded by glass and incorporates the neighborhood’s cast iron buildings. This is especially since it is connected to the restored 1888 Corbin Building. It blends the older styled architecture with the newer sleek contemporary look. The atrium goes up to 110 feet with a conical dome with a canted glass oculus intersecting it.
