Daniel Libeskind “The Ascent at Roebling’s Bridge”

My last blog for this class, I have chosen this residential tower across the river from Cincinnati, Ohio. Located in Covington, Kentucky, the Ascent look like a wave or a blue thorn. I chose this building because of the way it looks, and its use of space to create a livable and function apartment tower.

Architect Daniel Libeskind has some very interesting buildings. A lot of his buildings have a personal meaning to his life. Being Jewish he was responsible for many Jewish related museums all over the Europe and in the United States. I would like to visit the Jewish Museum in Berlin someday if I go back to Germany. With that I say it’s been fun blogging. What can I say, peace out.
