Buckingham Palace – London, UK
The exterior of Buckingham Palace was an interesting place to visit. It serves as the official London residence and administrative headquarters of the reigning monarch of the United Kingdom. Guards would be surrounding the area, and at certain times they would march. When I went to visit, I was able to see the changing of guards in front of the gates where the cars enter and exit.
The building was opened in 1703. The construction date traces back to the 1600’s, designed by architects John Nash, Edward Blore, Aston Webb, William Winde, and Thomas Cubitt.
