This residence was built by E. Fay Jones from 1975 to 1979. I found this to be a very interesting building it seems to be built on a swap. However, it seems to fit in with the environment very well. The openness of the patios and balcony up top seem to maximize the freeness of this building. The overhang of the railing the deck below seems to be an odd feature. I can’t quite grasp why that may have been intended. Having water as a yard seems to also be a very interesting concept. It definitely beats mowing the yard. Being that it is about two feet off the water though, this house seems very prone to flooding. That made me curious if some feature took that into consideration. Lastly, the cypress tress as a great feel to the house.
