Devon Energy Center was designed by Jon Pickard and completed in October of 2012. At 850 feet high, Devon Energy Center is the tallest building in Oklahoma and is tied for the 44th tallest building in the United States. The building serves as the world headquarters for Devon Energy and includes office space, employee amenities, and a restaurant. A park was installed on the south side of the building that spans two acres and the building achieved a LEED Gold certification. Devon Energy Center was built as part of an effort to revitalize downtown Oklahoma City and now serves as an architectural focal point for the city. Pickard’s design helped give Oklahoma City a new landmark.
