Santiago Calatreva designed his first performing arts facility in the Canary Islands, Spain. This building is famous for its giant arc, as it is the only large arch supported by only two points of support, and the point seems to be gravity defying. The auditorium is considered a symbol of the Canary Islands and the Island of Tenerife, along with being one of the most symbolic buildings of Spanish architecture.
